The Fremont, IN location is poised to service the Midwest USA, as it is under three hours from Chicago, Detroit, and Indianapolis. Ridgway, PA is ideal for East Coast customers, including Cleveland, Rochester, and Pittsburgh. Both locations are capable of rack spray, dip-spin, and minicoater coating processes.

The newest purpose-built facility for Allegheny Coatings was completed in 2015 and is located roughly three miles from the River Road location in Ridgway, PA. This overhead spray line was specifically designed to apply coatings to large, high-volume stampings, castings, and similar components. This line perfectly augments the production capabilities of the River Road facility, creating a full service offering for metal protection requirements in the Eastern USA geography. This facility also hosts its own preconditioning capabilities, including media blasting and alkaline cleaning. The acreage upon which this facility is situated allows for significant future expansion for the business at this site. The current facility is 35,000 square feet of production space.

The original location of Allegheny Coatings still serves as its corporate headquarters since its founding in 1985, operating in over 100,000 square feet of office and production space. This century-old building has been repurposed for Allegheny Coatings' operations and has been upgraded multiple times to allow for growth of new service offerings over the past thirty years. Production for this facility focuses on smaller, more nimble application lines, spanning dip-spin and spray processes which can be modified for larger or smaller parts. Zinc electroplating, vacuum impregnation, and other application processes are also offered out of this facility, making the River Road facility a true one-stop shop for all metal protection application requirements.

Opened in 2000 as a purpose-built expansion of the original Angola, IN facility, the Allegheny Coatings Fremont facility was established as a reliable, high-volume spray applicator for ball studs and brake rotors. In 2006, the facility was sold to Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies, operating as Metal Improvement Company for eleven years. In 2017, Allegheny Coatings re-purchased the Fremont facility to expand its offering into the Midwestern USA. The facility has since had significant financial investment to improve services and to add new capabilities under Allegheny Coatings' leadership. The facility also expanded to add dip-spin capabilities to service bulk fastener and hardware customers in the Midwest. Fremont boasts 105,000 square feet of production and office space.
